Allocortech can battery management systems (BMS), full battery assemblies, and battery chargers. We also design and manufacture motor-generator units (MGUs) tht meet the demanding requirements of our customers.
Allocortech’s BMS enables creation of a modular smart battery with few connections and minimal software configuration. Features include:
- High power connections through scrw terminals
- Cell balancing through standard Molex Micro-Fit connectors
- Thermistor connector for temperature monitoring and reporting
Full battery assemblies can contain up to 18 cells. The cell container/enclosure can be customized to meet customer requirements. We have experience with both aluminum and composite materials for constructing full assemblies
Allocortech designs battery chargers to meet customer needs. We have experience with single battery chargers as well as chargers for multiple batteries. Our designs can include the ability to act as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
To enable next-gen uncrewed and optionally crewed aircraft, we design and assemple light, compact MGUs. They are designed specifically for small aircraft and provides an initial surge of power for engine start and liftoff.
Allocortech can quickly provide low-cost custom hardware designs, customized versions of existing products, and integrate new hardware into existing designs. Where needed, requirements, test cases, simulators, and hardware-in-the-loop environments can be created.
